HPS is a kind of starch ether (Hydroxy Propyl Starch), it is white powder which is made by native starch after modification, etherification reaction and spray drying process,it does not contain plasticizer. 

Application:

It can be used as additive for all kinds of cement based and gypsum based wall putty, tile adhesive and all kinds of dry mix mortars, when it is used with cellulose ether (HPMC, MHEC, MC) which can get good thickening effect, better anti crack, improve workability, extend open time, at the same time when using HPS it can reduce the quantity of cellulose ether.
